That's interesting. Tantalizing even.

The coaches and players are in denial. Some of their quotes are just silly.

Geoff was spot on. His first few sentences should be enough to frustrate/anger any fan. How players at that level--or any level--can walk onto a floor laughing while getting their backsides handed to them is inexcusable.

At this point I see no reason to think next year will be any better if as good as this year.

Tubby inherited the Lawson clan situation from CJP...I think he's gonna deal with it over the next month or so to demonstrate that the program is far greater than one micro-managing basketball "family"...IMHO, of course.

The reason folks gravitate towards college BB versus the NBA is that college BB has more effort/intensity (since they play fewer games) and the players are willing (at this point) to be coached (whereas the NBA is a players league).

For the record, I like both college BB and the NBA. However, when college BB devolves into 'NBA-lite' with lack of effort and uncoachable players, what do you get?

A much worse version than the NBA.

And nobody is going to pay money for an inferior product when there is a better product in the same building with the same parking and...better game times.

How much of this is on Tubby? I am not sure, but teams shouldn't play THAT badly at the end.
