Troy had 7 boards and 6 assists to go with his points scored.
I need this troy 8 more games.

Perfect time for him to elevate his game this week and next.
Next month...

His denial of passes on the wing was noticable on a couple occasions tonight. And he was going to block that layup until he saw Gary coming to do it more impressively than he could.

I was surprised we didn't replace Shaq. I know Evans is 6'6 but he's really a 2/3. A 3/4 guy like Shaq would make it easier to go small for longer periods. But at the end of the day 28-4...

Really? One inch makes that difference? Smh I don't think so. Evans doesn't play big but we are really good when we play 3 and 4 guards

RE: Tulsa vs. Cincinnati AAC Tournament Game Thread
Uconn fans are already talking trash up here, but a lot of caveats. Having stuck around and watched the second game, Houston really worked Uconn's guards hard so i suspect on a quick turnaround tomorrow we will have some physical edge. St Patty's day celebration clashes with the game down here. It will be crazy. The rivalry is on again. Have we ever played a team twice in less than a week?

Gary Clark on the sports center top 10 with his block from last night.

UConn doesn't worry me at all. We beat them like a rented mule the first two times and 3 games in 3 days has to be wearing on a team with no bench.

Yea, well maybe, but I'm gonna wait until we beat SMU and then beat a decent team from another league, this league is poor crap. Just gonna enjoy the ride.

A confounding line of reasoning if ever there were one. A 3/4 crossover probably wouldn't put up 20 on 8/10 shooting last night. Evans is athletic enough, plays pretty good defense, add to that he's better offensively than any 3 we've had in a long ass time and it seems like people would be content with him.

My reply wasn't really well stated. I wasn't saying I'd rather have a Shaq type over Evans. If we had a Shaq type I'd imagine him playing a lot of 4 with Evans. I think Jacob is the second best college player on this team and the only guy on our team I have a high degree of confidence in eventually cashing NBA checks

Having watched both games up close yesterday, i would rather play Uconn even at home vs Ucf right now. UCF is a strange matchup with the big guy and they are really shooting the ball well. Houston's D against uconn was nowhere near what we bring to the table, also they have no real depth which hurt them particularly down low. That said, i don't recall ever having to beat a team on their floor twice in 1 week. That has to be some sort of guiness record. That said, i'm heading up to get my first guiness at the hartford st pats fest. Uconn you are going down!
