I believe that also about Buzz..He gave a list of things that he wanted and they didn't wanna sign off on them so they didn't get him. They didn't care enough or want to do enough to actually get him so they settled on Tubby..at the time thats how I remember Parrish's reporting on it. They could've gotten him just didn't want him bad enough to make it happen.

All the people saying they care so much over there that the program will be relevant again i don't know that I believe that to be the case anymore..maybe the boosters and such that used to used to and that's just it. Werent willing to buy the dumpster fire josh out without aid and seem a lot of them to be interested more in football now so who knows if this will ever be turned around again.

There is putting your child first and then there's teaching them that the world simply revolves around them and only them. I've seen the mom at middle school games..."wow" is all I can muster for the vulgar abuse she gives the refs (we're talking MIDDLE school games, now...).

Let's just say that dad is the "mild" one of the two. I don't know about Chandler but the younger one and KJ have the nastiest mouths you can imagine...and the apples don't fall too far from the tree. When they played for American Way Middle, I saw the youngest one cuss the coach AND his own brother out like dogs when he got yanked out of the game...and he was in SIXTH GRADE at the time. They had to separate them on the bench to keep them from fighting but in his defense, Chandler was not the aggressor....little bro was. A little birdie told me that KJ even told Penny to suck his during an AAU game in front of a huge crowd in Texas when they played for Team Penny. Just flat out disrespectful...Yeah. Real pillars of the community.

Suffice to say, I can definitely agree on the "team cancer" theory based on what I CONSISTENTLY witnessed during 3 middle school seasons. Take it FWIW. Sips tea...

Oh, of course! It's no secret...well, at least not to anyone on the local middle school/AAU scene. I can't imagine that word didn't get back to Josh about their "temperaments". This is only an assumption, but maybe another plus to having dad around was a way to mitigate any issues while Pastner was here? I must admit I always felt there would be a lot of personality clash between KJ and Josh. Also, Josh was very rigid about his little rules (lol) and they knew that going in, so....but, anyway...it apparently worked for all parties involved, I guess...well, at least nothing came out in the public. A lot of internal team stuff goes undisclosed and for good reason.

I don't know why anyone would be surprised...KJ shows flashes of anger towards teammates and refs all the time and the cameras do catch it, lol. The cuss words definitely fly but I'm no wallflower and not easily offended so I could care less..just saying...lol

Let's put it like this, when Tubby came here, he was obviously told he couldn't get rid of Keelon or Keelon would've been gone. Does that sound like it was Josh who made the call on accepting Keelon's "offer" to join the staff?

Tubby doesn't have to do anything. He can hire his other son if he wants. Don't think AD had foresight to put much in his contract regarding basketball operations other than Tubby has total say so. I think KJ may mature and turn into a very good player and Dedric may come back. If that happens and Tubby can get a couple of high D1s to supplement our returning players, we might could develop a team. However, the recruiting part is where I have more doubts.
