Why not? Its no different than the football team getting to play Eastern Michigan for not finishing first. Mid-major vs. Mid-major. I will go if they have another home game.

Maybe it will be the Vegas 4 this year? And we can keep up our postseason win streak going

Hosting a CIT game costs $30k we apparently don't have. CBI is $40-50k.

With the donations pooring, where is the money going? Who audits?

I was referring to our 4 month long, ongoing FB coaches contract issue...

I'm sure we have the money somewhere, but I'd rather spend it on the FB assistants than host someone like Campbell in a basketball game attended by 1500.

Agreed. And I do wonder why we are always crying poor when we are one of the highest G5 budgets out there and our coaches all seem too be paid at the mid level at best.

Embarrassing that they are using money as an excuse. Why not just say we aren't rewarding a mediocre season? Most would agree and respect that. Even mentioning a $30k cost as an issue just looks horrible.

The team lost the final two games they played and they didn't perform particularly well in either of them. A loss in the opening round of a meaningless third-tier postseason tournament would look even worse. Rack the equipment and hit the books. We're done

Salaries, scholarships, and travel (in the multitude of conferences) eat up the majority portion of that budget.

My point is that there are schools that seem to be getting as much or more with much lower budgets. And teams with similar budgets that pay coaches much more than us.

Just curious.... it's been years since I've been in the Ted.
