They just thumped us pretty good last Saturday. Should be fresh in the minds. 19-12 is not very bad for an #8 seed. We will have to be better out of the gate in this one. Wednesday was "survive". Today it's "advance". Let's go ladies!!

Women up 20 point with about 4 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.

Up 44 to 24 at the half. Shooting over 50%. Lehman was on the bench for a good portion of the 2Q with 2 fouls.

Solid 20 Point lead at half-time. Need to keep the pressure on and get out with a BIG win.

Can't relax like Ohio did on Wednesday. Keep attacking the basket. Way too early to sit on a lead and try and milk the shot clock.

Why can't the men play like this?

Up 20 through 3 quarters.

The men's team needs to practice with the women's team. These women make shooting free throws look easy.

Maybe coach Carlsen should teach Monty how to run a proper offense.

The women's game is all about can you make shots? If you can you will be good. Majority of teams can't. The NIU women are pretty good at it .434fg and .355% from three. The NIU men are .438fg and .312% from 3pt. The men's game takes more of a balance of offense and defense to be good. The women's game only requires offense which the Huskies are good at. Uconn has won a 100 some games in a row. It's hard to find a men's team winning 10 games in a row. I believe this is because college players are terrible shooters and in the women's game the difference between the teams that can shoot and the ones that can't is even greater in the women's game. The Huskies consistently make shots thus making them a great team!

Maybe Carlsen should coach both teams.

Huskies beat Toledo by 4 and lost to them by 4. Huskies beat Buffalo by 9.
