Guys, Buffalo clearly never commits a foul ever. If one is called the ref is obviously garbage.

One T doesn't make up with a game full of calls / non-calls going Kent State's way.
Also the very next possession CJ Massinburg was hit on the drive (about 2:08 left) and no foul was called of course.
And now a BS charge called on Conner with 1:27 left. De La Rosa was not set at all.
You are the guy who gets tossed at his son's 5th grade game...

Congrats to Kent St, Buffalo got flat for a while in the first half (credit to Kent's defense) and couldn't recover. Hopefully this is not the last time we see the 16'-17' Bulls.

Giving my congrats to Kent State. That was an ugly game for sure. Good luck in the next round.

From what I'm reading here Kent State fans should be. Of course, that doesn't reconcile with the game I watched where I saw the refs with questionable fouls and non-calls on both sides.

Refs totally screwed Toledo, too. If the game was called correctly we win by thirty. I feel badly for Buffalo, having to experience the same fate. BSU got hosed, too. In fact, all the losing teams took it on the chin from the refs. That just happens far too often in the MAC..

This board never ceases to amaze me. Whenever your team loses 100% of the time it's the refs fault. It never has to do with the fact the opposing team was better than you...

Yeah, EMU would've won for sure yesterday without that 21-21 foul deadlock and the four Akron technicals compared to three by EMU.

17:21 Hall grabs Perkins arm. I have no problem with fouls not being called when they're battling off the ball down low but then don't sit there and call UB for the same thing which they've done
16:37 charge called on UB's Hamilton despite defender moving into him
15:59 charge called on UB's Perkins despite De La Rosa being in restricted area
13:28 No charge called despite running over Caruthers who was set
9:36 Hall fouls Conner and doesn't get called again
8:50 Walker on Kent State gets away with a charge. UB gets a bench warning for yelling at the ref
7:45 Hamilton gets called for a charge despite Kent State player moving.
Funny how two blatant charges go uncalled on Kent State yet 3 questionable ones have gone on UB now
What are the odds you were sitting upper deck on the bench side of the arena and behind the radio broadcast area with one other person with you? Both in Buffalo colors. What an obnoxious whining pair. Those 2 cried about every call and spent more time yelling at the refs that cheering for the team. Made fools of themselves! If they only knew how everyone was laughing at them.

It wasn't because anyone thought there was a conspiracy against the Flashes like some fans think, but just the quality and style of the refereeing. When regulation game last 2.5 hours, you can usually look at the refs. They made some inexplicable calls on both sides and were just so inconsistent with what was a foul on the perimeter with ball handlers and defenders, and on drives what was a no-call, what was a charge, what was a block. Pulling a random call out of a hat would be more reliable.
That was the BSU - NIU game last Friday. The first half had a nice flow and was entertaining to watch. And then for whatever reason, the referees decided to call anything and everything and the game devolved into a free throw shooting contest.
It took 2:15-2:20 hours to play.

Ball State got hosed so badly, they didn't even call a foul on BSU's Tyler when he kneed BSU's Persons in the head. I mean, the guy has blood gushing from above his eye, and no foul. Somehow, they overcame the clear bias.

Yes, I was there and I couldn't believe the no-call. The Ball State fans in attendance were dumbfounded by the lack of a whistle on Tyler and gave the refs the silent treatment for more than 10 minutes while Persons was being attended to and ultimately taken to the hospital. Those refs should have been made to wipe the blood off the floor. Incredible.

Blake Hamilton was whistled for traveling while crossing the street yesterday.
When will the MAC office look into this? Where is the leadership?

Buffalo's guards start traveling when they board the team bus.
