The team is really battling hard. Rice is better than us and we are giving them everything they want. One of our better games. Not perfect by any means, but one of our better ones.

Rice is one of the few teams in the top half of CUSA that we (or oui) matched up fairly well against.

Even still, as talent-depleted as our team was, they had to make up for it with grit and effort. With that being the case, too often there were players standing around instead of going after loose balls or rebounds. That is one issue that the coaching staff could have corrected.
