Dude shot 48% from the field and 37% from 3 this year. Averaged 8/4. Would have been NIU's 2nd best perimeter player.

Orris, Springs, and Bowie all dancing. Wilson and Porter both gone. Everything is fine though, right?

Congrats Michael! Great guy! The Daum kid on SDSU is a stud. He was Summett league best player.

7, Orris made a total of 6 three pointers on the season. He played with the best player in the entire conference. I'm sure if NIU had the best player in the MAC they might be decent. SDSU is 18-16 and played in a tournament a hour from their campus.

He's a starter on a tournament team and was a legitimate productive player!

NIU might have the best player in the conference one day if they ever had a guy actually stay 4/5 years (Nader, Wilson, hell Maric won't even use up all his eligibility).

If you think this is normal, I don't know what to tell you.

Why would Maric stay if he can go get paid?

Orris was Orris this year. He started 22 games and contributed. SDSU is in the tourney for the second straight year they certainly are a better program than NIU. Over 9k at their games in the tournament.

Seems like they are a better program. MM would not last this long anywhere else.

I think our huge number of departures need to go in 2 different baskets, those which I would have never wanted to continue to see play at NIU and those that make you wonder what happened. Wilson and Porter cause their own problems, they are not Monty issues, other than the fact he recruited them.

SDSU was 8-8 in their league. They lost and beat Idaho this year. Only common opponent with NIU. Huskies beat Idaho 63-49.

Michael had a lot on his mind during last years basketball season. He fought through it. He didn't have a good season but he survived. I will be watching and rooting for him and his team. He deserves all the happiness he can attain this season!

Ahhhhhh. Another former Huskie succeeding somewhere else. I don't think we need to see more examples . If we suck again next year and lose players, it's going to be time to clean house again.

I agree. Wilson and Porter wasted the talents they possesed. I am sure they will get second chances. Will be interesting to see if they can make the necessary changes to succeed in another program.

Has it been confirmed that Porter is off the team?

...other than choosing to attend, do you suppose Lincoln enjoyed the play?

I'm so happy for Michael because he's such a great guy. It's nice to see him end his career like this after everything he's been through. You could see just how much this meant for him last night when he collapsed on the court as time expired. I grew up with him and we were teammates for a few years when we were young. I'm proud of what he's done so far at SDSU and I look forward to watching him in the tourney.
