Agreed, it seems we're heading for a mix of "Brave New World" meets "1984". Basically, we'll be baffled by bull****, propaganda, and mindless/soulless entertainment and at the same time crushed underneath the boot-heel of the government.

One of the things scary about the Democrats was their efforts to use economic pressure to shut down opposing thought. People have lost their jobs for things like supporting building a wall even on their private Facebook when people with access complained about what they had said. What if the government gets involved?
