The one which CRUSHED Ball State University on February 25 or the one that struggled against Miami last night?

I'm actually glad last night's win was a nailbiter and not a blowout. Keeps us on our toes.

I think we win Thursday in a similar game (close the whole way).

I am not so sure the Miami team WMU beat last night is not better than the Ball State team we "crushed" in February.

Granted, WMU played stiff last night, but Miami's tough D was part of the reason. And Miami did just beat Akron AT Akron last Friday night.

Which WMU team will show up? I'm hoping the one that's on a 9 game winning streak.

If they beat Ball State that will be 10 in a row. Last team to accomplish that was the 1976 championship team.

One thing is for sure, if we make it as far as the MAC tournament finals-and lose-the same old whiney chumps will post here, 'Hawks can't win the big ones, second place means nothing. We need a young, exciting coach to turn this program around.'

We had a let-down Monday night against a team with bad record after big win over arch-rival Friday in revenge game to clinch MAC-West trophy.

After some time off, team will be ready to compete for MAC championship.

Bench is well rested and ready to provide the needed minutes. Maybe Printy and Randle can drop in some 3's like they did a couple games ago and get 7-8 minutes of floor time. 3 games in 3 days. In tourney every game is potentially the last game, but getting the bench on the floor is the only way to make it to the final.

If we make it to the finals, I will gladly eat crow and say that's one hell of an effort to end the season.

I think Ball State is going to be hungry after we pounded them into the pavement the last time we played. My gut tells me it's close all the way down to the final 6-8 minutes and then they pull away and beat us by about 10.

I'll predict Ball St. 78, WMU 67

Even if we lose, proud of the way this group battled and finished the season.

The MAC tourney is officially called the "MAC men's tournament presented by visitmyrtlebeach.com".

That just rolls off the tongue.

Agree but the fact they were able to stay in the game and grind it out for the win speaks volumns about the mental toughness of the team. The freshman have really stepped up and this team could be scary good next year.
