I thought COY should go to MTSU coach - his team has been playing with the target on their back the whole season and they are where they were predicted.

RE: C-USA Hoops Individual Award Predicitons
and yes, McCree is definitely the best player this year.
There is no one who is close to the level of Trey Freeman to compete with McCree this year

And then smacked in the mouth by ODU again in the tourney. It's the Tech way.
Seriously though. I'm staying with Upshaw-POY, Williams-NOY & Davis-COY

Seems odd that ODU could finish 3rd in the conference, yet not have anyone on your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd team, nor place anyone on the all defensive team while leading or being among the the league leaders in defense. Having none of that one might suppose that the coach had warranted coach of the year honors. Not saying any of your choices were wrong. Just pointing out the oddity of how it came out considering the team records.

I believe what makes Old Dominion the best defensive team in the conference is their ability to play cohesively no matter who is on the court. No one player is dominate on the team, in my opinion. Brandan would have likely landed on the list if not for his injury. You could make an argument for Taylor, too.

^ what he said. I didn't expect anyone on any teams this season. We don't have any stars on the team at this moment. But we do have a system that everyone buys into that produces.

I believe this current team could beat last years team on a neutral court at this point of the season.

Oh, I don't disagree with your comments. Just pointing out the oddity of it being that way, Jones included.
EDIT - Well it isn't quite as odd overall now. Just saw that one of the players was selected for 3rd team. Guess that fits in well with their 3rd place performance for the season.

Can't see anyone beating out Talley for 6th man either.

Even more understandable now. Just saw that Denzel Taylor made the all defensive team. Well deserved.
