this tourney will be more fun if/when UCONN, Memphis, and Temple are all ncaa caliber teams. UH too. I'd actually go to it if that were the case.

I attended the CUSA 1995/96 Tourney in Memphis at the old Pyramid. GREAT time.

The semi final matches were UC vs UofL and Memphis vs Marquette.

All four teams were ranked. UC beat UofL and Marquette surprised Memphis.

UC beat Marquette in OT for the championship and was awarded a 2 seed in the ncaa. We went to the Elite 8 that year. Lots of fun in Memphis and GREAT basketball.

Has Cincinnati been back to the Elite 8 since? No, I'm not Googling. With all those great Huggins Bear teams, it's hard to think they haven't been back.

1998 we lost on a 40foot prayer to WVA at the buzzer, we were a 2 seed
2000 was our year until Kmart broke his leg

2001 we were a 1 seed and lost in 2OT to the 8 seed
