Miss at least two practice reports.

Defense played really well. Lot of big hits. Look to have good depth on that side of the ball. Offense showed flashes. Think AJ Erdely has chance to be a really good QB.

It was also has HS Jr day with a lot of visitors (or so I gather from Twitter). One visitor tweeted that the defense was "nasty".

some recruits say they are leaving with a completely different perspective than what they thought about UAB. like coach says, get facilities and convince these kids to visit campus.

we have a good quarterback and a good defense. offense needs some work from what ive heard.

If one side of the ball needs work, I'm glad it's the offense. A good defense can keep you in any game.

Think there are some good offensive pieces. Just have to fit them together.

Will be surprised if we don't get a report about today's practice. Good to hear the defense is doing well. The offense is always a work in progress until they prove they can go on the field and execute. They will get better when they figure out our defense.

Offense takes time to get the timing & execution down so I'm not really worried. It could be that our D is so good that the O looks like bad but then again the O could be horrible & makes the D look stronger. We won't fully know till Sept 2017 what the case is.

If our defense sucked, I can pretty much guarantee you that Clark would be tackling it head on right now.

Clark said the offense struggled but he didn't think that it was because the offense was so bad it was because the defense was pretty good. Said we held onto the ball and didn't fumble. Both QBs threw it well but did throw a couple picks late in 2 minute situation.

WRs need to catch the 50/50 balls. He has challenged them.

I have a feeling this defense is going to be just plain nasty. If our offense can move them ball on them consistently .........
