Compared to known cost of that time period. UM cost was $415 a semester in late 70s early 80s. Average home cost in Memphis in 70s $27,000 Latter part of decade around $35,000. Not likely many people in Memphis would shell out $1,200 to record TV shows.

I've already told you I've known multiple people who had a ton of late 70's era Memphis wrestling. The 2 people I knew lived in Mississippi.
