Wow, we must have sucked in 1947.

Worst train wreck I've seen in 30+ years of watching Tiger basketball.

How did we ever win 19 games?

It's a miracle.

RE: 1947
Clearly, some of these flip flop, wishy washy and so called Memphis fans need to be on some psychotropic medications. Sinister and diabolical comments are bizarre and pathetic. There's a reason Cal didn't look back after he left. Fuente's in heaven @ Virginia Tech. The fan support there is wonderful. Cal referred to them as "miserables" and that's just what they are "miserable"as well as delusional and psychotic. They attack viciously other true fans who express or post differing opinions about Tiger basketball. It's appalling and embarrassing the erratic behavior displayed on this board. Is there any other Memphis Tiger board available where sensible and rational Tiger fans can discuss Tiger sports? Unfortunately, the miserables mindset has not changed since 1947. I'm inclined to believe the genuine or true Tiger fans do not bother to post anything; it's just pointless. The miserables will overflow great, fun, and insightful posts with their uncompromising "misery." Have a wonderful morning true Tiger fans!

Let's not act like Memphis is really this bad.

Memphis played SMU in December and was up 43-40 with 10 minutes to go in the game and only ended up losing by 4.

Obviously the teams have gone in different directions since then, but...

Since the loss to Temple last month, we have really played some horrible basketball.

Coach said after the Temple loss some of the players reverted back to old patterns. Tubby's a defense type of coach. This team has played exceptional defense before when they execute the game plan and not resort to AAU type of basketball. Tubbs will turn it around; his track record is indicative of him doing so. Patience is a virtue.

Actually Memphis had been pretty bad in perimeter defense all year long.

Agree wholeheartedly. Is it my imagination but I thought there were a few games where it looked as some improvement was made regarding the perimeter defense deficit? It could be wishful thinking on my part.
