How about some praise for Kathy Beauregard?
She's taken heat in these forums, how about some praise?

* Football Program-what more can you say?!
* Men's Basketball Program gets up off canvas and grabs West Division
* Ice Hockey Program hit's it's stride
* Men's and Women's Tennis programs-perennially vie for MAC titles
* Men's and women's soccer programs, every year in contention
* Men's baseball Team won MAC tourny last season
* Women's dance team-Champions in my eyes!!!

Frankly, she deserves a major raise and praise commensurate with her performance.

RE: How about some praise for Kathy Beauregard?
I have always thought Kathy B. was the right person for the job. She bleeds Brown and Gold and is a true "Gal in Kalamazoo." I don't think there is a single person in Broncos Nation who wants to see our athletic teams succeed more than she does. Her job absolutely depends on it. When your job depends on the performance of others you are going to do everything you can to make sure they can succeed. Has she made any mistakes, I'm sure she has, we all do. But, as one of the top most respected AD's in the country, especially by student athletes,There are not many AD's better than she is. In my opinion, she is the best AD in the nation.

Thank you Kathy B. for all of your hard work in making sure our athletic teams can succeed on the field, court and ice, in the classroom and, more importantly, in life.

"It's a great day to be a Bronco!"
"Fight on, fight on!"
Go Broncos!

My pleasure. It's always a great time to be a WMU Bronco, but current times are stellar.

As John said, we all make the occasional mistake; there'd be no growth and improvement without them, after all.

But when you look at the big picture, Kathy has been superb in both performance and as an ambassador for Bronco Nation.

She's more than earned having something named after her whenever she retires. Perhaps the Kathy Beauregard WMU Athletic Hall of Fame?

Kathy is outstanding and you have done a nice job highlighting her results! Thanks!

Glad you also mentioned the WMU Dance Team. They do much more than shake pom-poms and smile at football and basketball games. Last year the group won NDA Nationals! In short, the WMU dance team is one of the finest collegiate dance teams in America, and that is not an exaggeration.

Here is a clip from Youtube of their impressive performance at NDA last year:

So much to be proud of with Western Michigan University Athletics. Unlike our rival up north, we have a legitimate "Championship Culture" in Kalamazoo.

Go Broncos!

Also the Ladies Synchronized Skating team, which should be a varsity sport. We're doing really a superb job there.

Excellence everywhere at WMU!
