Have no idea. Has he ever done anything recently for the university? I know AT used to have camps and what not...has he ever done anything like that in the past?

I mean, if his dad still loves the school, I'm sure he's raised him to love the school. That doesn't necessarily mean he'll choose us, but it does mean we have better than no shot.

It'll take some recruiting though, and lots of it. Have a really good year this year and I'm sure it'll help.

He will go to Alabama and turn the right way to intercept the winning touchdown pass with 1 second left for another Alabama championship.

You know, it could be that Hattiesburg is really missing the mark with the whole "research university" thing. I mean, who does The Weather Channel want to talk to when they descend upon us? A scientist from the university? No, they do not want to talk to him. They'd rather talk to an animated but semi-literate young ruffian of stereotypically rural manners... someone who can mug for the cameras, eyes wide, simultaneously strange and yet eminently relatable.

Yes, upon reflection, the whole university thing just isn't what the market wants. They want some sort of "real life Sanford & Son" experience to round out the book-learning they already have. I'm thinking something like Dollywood but with more boiled peanuts.
