NFL Combine starts today
If there is a thread started already I have missed it. Figured we could use one place to post how your teams prospects did. Post numbers and comments. Hopefully AAC represents well and raises our draft potential!

Greg Ward Jr is going to be with the Wide Receivers.

AAC fans know what a phenomenal athlete he is. I'm intrigued to see where he places in the 40 and the short shuttle.

Was Perriman the last AAC receiver to go in the 1st round?

I'll never forget this catch by Perriman. It won a championship.

Dion Dawkins is killing it, and basically proving he's good enough to play both G and T and the NFL. Wouldn't be surprised if he went mid 20s to mid 30s.

Maybe the Texans take him? Who knows?

Haason Reddick runs a 4.52 at 6'1.5 237, and tied the record for 3rd best broad jump for a DL or LB since 2006. Great chance he goes in the top 20 now. Could end up with two 1st round picks this year.

Reddick might go first round, I don't think he will but maybe. No way Dawkins goes first round though

He's not going lower than 21 to Detroit. Dawkins definitely can go in the late 20s to 32. If he's not taken in the 1st, he should be the 1st OL taken in the 2nd between 33rd and 37th.

no guarantees

reddick (temple lb) has the best chance..late 1st/early 2nd projection

dawkins (temple OL) 2nd round projections

bowser (houston lb) late 2nd/early 3rd projections

jones (ecu wr) 3rd prj

wilson (houston cb) 3-4th cb

these are the only AAC with 1st round potential, the first 4 had elite senior bowls/combine and there are potential

wilson (only a soph) has little film, but has elite stats his 1 year starting and has ideal nfl height/size...his combine is tomorrow, talks are if he puts up big numbers he could sneak into the first /second

the player with likely the highest draft potential in the AAC actually decided to comeback in WR courtland sutton

Where do you still see Jones as a 3rd round prospect? After the combine all I've seen and heard points towards early 2nd round (maybe even late 1st round). Mel Kiper actually had him as a 1st round pick in his mock draft a week or so ago before his great combine performance.

"With zero drops and his impressive 40 time, Jones is a lock for a top-50 pick come April."

"Zay Jones...is hoping to match his father’s draft status as a first-round pick — Robert Jones was selected 24th overall by the Dallas Cowboys in 1992.

"Many now see the former Pirate as a late first-round or early second-round selection in the NFL Draft."

I think Reddick is a guarantee at this point. 20-24, 26-30 are all possible places he has been connected to.

Shaquill Griffin (UCF DB) ran a 4.39 40.

His NFL scouting report (http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/shaq...id=2558259) says his biggest weakness is "average" speed 03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

RE: NFL Combine starts today
ZAY JONES
6'2", 201lbs
Arm Length: 32.5"
Hands: 9"
40 Yard Dash: 4.45
Bench Press: 15 Reps
Vertical: 36.5"
Broad Jump: 133"
3 Cone Drill: 6.79 SEC
20 YD Shuttle: 4.01 SEC
60 YD Shuttle: 11.17 SEC

Zay was a "Top Performer" among WR's in the broad jump, 20 yard shuttle, and 60 yard shuttle. And with a 4.45 40 time, he shut up a lot of analysts who said he doesn't have any straight-line speed. Couple that with the best hands in the draft, and Zay made himself a few million since the Senior Bowl. Some mocks have him going early 2nd round.

RE: NFL Combine starts today
Unfortunately, TU's Keevan Lucas but up some pretty bad numbers at the combine. I think his chances of making the NFL went out the window. He was middle of the pack to bottom of the pack in most events. He did catch well but that was about it. Slow 40, slow 3 cone drill, slow shuttle, only 11 reps, average long jump, and slightly above average vertical.
