No wonder the US requires Visa's for visiting Polish.

They're not less intelligent, they're just drawn to fields which don't get paid much.

The problem with "weaker" and "Less intelligent" is that you're taking very nuanced things and making them black and white.

Less intelligent -> Men and women do have different mental strengths. In some areas men are better and others see women do better. But in either case the mean difference is not at all significant.

Weaker -> Giving birth vs Man Cold...

Weaker - The female body isn't designed for long days of chopping wood or lifting heavy objects repeatedly. The male body wasn't designed to split at the hips and pass a human life between our legs. Women are weaker in some areas and men are weaker in others; plus they're exceptions to these generalities too. I can acknowledge that it's my job as a man to open jars and lift heavy objects in my home without feeling exploited by it in any way.

Less Intelligent - This is usually the male "analytical" mindset vs the female "intuitive" mindset. Again, there are exceptions to these generalities too. It's not an intelligent vs ignorant issue but more along the lines that women generally tend to naturally prefer language over mathematics. Just so happens that mathematics leads to fields with higher compensation than language arts.

Women make less because the people who make the most are largely older and from a generation where not many women worked and most that did work were in lower paying professions. Obviously a 60 year old man with 40 years of experience is going to make more money and provide more value than a 25 year old woman with 3 years of experience. Once the boomers retire, I bet women will be making more than men.

I'm pretty sure he was referring to physical strength...

There is also the thing that men have more high performers and more low performers on IQ tests.

Correct. I am speaking mainly toward the claim that is often advanced that they make less for doing the same job. But as we all know, once you get out of hourly wages and into salaried work, no two people do the same job, even if the description is the same, and 40 years of experience and the accumulated business accumen that comes with it has a lot of value.
