Koulachev made a three with 6 seconds left. Marshall took the ball downcourt, missed a short jumper, and the clock ran out as they were fighting for the rebound.

Wasn't exactly at the buzzer. It was with about 6 seconds left. Marshall brought it down the floor and actually had a chance for a pretty easy layup but missed.

Egor with the game-saving 3-pointer, then Marshall's short jumper fell short. Can't believe Marshall called the timeout with 12 seconds left. Once Quez went out with around 6 minutes left, Marshall was able to repeatedly drive to the basket with ease.

HUGE road win, and with a sub-par performance by Evans.

Egor: 22 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists
Evans: 13 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists
Jackson: 13 points , 7 rebounds
Quez: 12 points, 3 boards
Cashaw: 8 points, 4 boards

...but another 5 players scored for the Owls. Another all-around team effort.

Rice clinches 5th place or better now in the league despite what happens Saturday at Western Kentucky. Probably we'll be 5th and play 12th place team, but we can still finish 4th with another win and a loss by UTEP/ODU (whoever loses tonight also has to lose Saturday).

Great win! Has to be a huge confidence booster at this point in the season. Way to go, Owls!
