If this is true, won't the flamers be pissed off? If there is going to be a gay character, shouldn't that character be a hero?

How many times in my lifetime have Christians boycotted Disney? It doesn't seem to be an effective strategy.

My family won't be going to see this film, and I certainly won't be encouraging anyone I know to go see it. I'm sure it will win some Oscars, despite the fact it is going to under perform at the box office.

Lets face it, Disney has been spiraling for years. They changed the name of ABC Family for a reason. The commercials on that channel are certainly not family friendly. I wouldn't let a kid watch that garbage.

I'm not trying to make them go bankrupt. I just refuse to give them MY money.

Hey I found a bible verse for you. I think you'll like it.

Quote:Ezekiel 23:20

19"Yet she multiplied her harlotries, remembering the days of her youth, when she played the harlot in the land of Egypt. 20"She lusted after their paramours, whose flesh is like the flesh of donkeys and whose issue is like the issue of horses. 21"Thus you longed for the lewdness of your youth, when the Egyptians handled your bosom because of the breasts of your youth.…

I tear up when I read that. So beautiful.

Do you have any idea what you're reading about? I'm guessing probably not.

Quote: verse 35 of the same chapter
I have spoken, declares the Sovereign Lord. 35 “Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Since you have forgotten me and turned your back on me, you must bear the consequences of your lewdness and prostitution.”

Truly a loving and forgiving Lord. We should all esteem to hold such petty values.

Allah is much more forgiving. 04-cheers

Or do you worship Global Warming/algore?

Or that lovely fresh little Obama? mmm.. yummy.

Worse...he worships ManBearPig. Kruciff is super-serial about him.

Gay Days is a LOT tamer than Mardi Gras is with the straight folk. Just a bunch of people having fun wearing red clothing.

Mardis Gras is not setting to attract 5 to 10 year olds with their families. And I would also argue to some degree about it being tamer than Mardi Gras.

You have to read the entire context of the books. Typically each book is written to a group of people and has a lot of allegory. You should really start reading this story at Chapter 20, the theme throughout several chapters is the Jews rebelling and coming punishment.

Oh I'm aware. I'm also aware that that is the case with pretty much every verse in the Bible when you start digging deep enough. It's mostly how I became atheist, reading the Bible.

Let me see if I have this right then Kruc... You KNOWINGLY excerpted three verses that do not complete an entire story and then pushed it as being the "story" just to fit the topic of this thread?

Congratulations, you have reached Alphabet media soup level of writing.

(Note: I actually tried that once with Hamlet just to do something different, and my professor made me re-write the entire paper I'd worked on since nothing I wrote had to do with the rest of the act that my portion had been clipped from).

If i spent my time fact checking the Bible doing mental gymnastics to make it make sense and be a positive moral lesson, I'd spend my time doing nothing else.

Atheists are like the vegan who can't help but tell the world how bad meat is...or the guy who is gluten and lactose intolerant yet feels the need to bring that up every time they sit down to a meal.

And religious folks are what? Totally immune from trying to place their views on others? Gimmie a break. You have to be a complete fool to not realize religious people are just as guilty of this if not more

Now that you have at least admitted Disney and the libturds are "guilty" in this, you can provide some evidence of where "religious people" are guilty of this.

Spanish Inquisition? The crusades? Remember those protests about chick fil a because they donated to the evangelical group behind the Uganda kill the gays bill?

Teaching intelligent design as science, making the Bible publically taught curriculum (not as cultural literature)... I can go on

Do... do you know what a straw man argument is? Something tells me no...

Also, you didn't specify when it happened (even though I offered a broad range of examples), so implying they are invalid is just moving the goal posts.

And its laughable you think the Chik File protests had anything to do with Uganda. It was because Cathy said he believed in traditional marriage, and you and the other alphabet snowflakes got all butthurt over it.

Church. Where the men of God take little boys in the back and others pretend they don't know what is going on. Ask the Pope. 05-stirthepot
