I'd rather watch it on YouTube than not at all, personally. But I get your point.

PlayStation Vue offers beIN on their $35 per month plan along with a lot of other sports channels. I feel this is one of the best bang for your buck TV offerings right now.

Why does this need a new thread? We've already got a thread on YouTube TV and one calling Judy out on BeIN.

I may be making the switch to PlayStation Vue as it's a better deal than Sling. Plus, there's no long term contract. YouTubeTV could be a very interesting option. My fear would be cable companies charging much more for internet only packages.

Cable companies still hold a bit of a monopoly on delivering internet to households as most locations only have one good option. Wireless hotspots are still very expensive and not as fast. Don't get me started on the horridness (invented word) of satellite internet.

It really is. The only issue for G5 fans is it doesn't offer CBS-Sports Network.

There's not a contract with SlingTV either.

I don't have a PlayStation so vue is not an option for me anyways.

You don't need a PlayStation to get PlayStation Vue just a streaming device like Roku or Apple TV.

I'm admittedly way behind the curve here, but I don't see the point to paying YouTube $35 a month . I already have cable that includes virtually all the broadcasters mentioned, plus Bein, plus computer streaming for ESPN3 etc. Someone tell me how it makes sense to pay this subscription fee.
Seems it only makes sense if you are cutting the cable , right?

Correct. No reason to do this in addition to having regular satellite or cable subscription.

This is for people who do not want to have regular satellite/cable TV.

I also didn't know I could get PlayStation Vue through the Roku. I plan to look into that a little more whenever I get the time.
