I know several families at Delhi Middle School (formerly Jr High). They like the school...older than Rapid Run but smaller also. Not sure that they "are a mess" is accurate, from what I have heard. Oak Hills is a public school, offering a lot of AP, language and arts classes. Being a public school, the student population is a mixed bag. The kids tend to be in pods with others in the classes they are in for what it is worth. The wife and I have done much research on this as we have decided to plant roots in Oak Hills (I grew up catholic - she didn't so we met in the middle). Have friends in Three Rivers - they like it there. We are happy where we are and it is convenient to the jobs I have had Downtown and in Clifton.

Speaking of that, just saw the article today about Mercy and McAuley combining. Definitely surprised they are going to be using McCauley's facilities though instead of Mercy's.

That doesn't surprise me. It's crazy how small some of their incoming freshman class numbers have been in recent years.

Unless they've done so recently, their facilities need to be upgraded big-time at Delshire and Delhi, really CO Harrison as well. A "mess" may have been an overstatement on my part, but it's certainly changed a lot from when I was growing up in Delhi in the 90's.

Don't know about Delshire. Delhi Middle has been updated/added on to...was there recently for a basketball game.

RE: The WEST Side
If my wife would let me move back to the west side we'd find something along West Fork Rd.

Who needs fancy restaurants when you can eat greasy fried bar food at every corner?
