ECU probably has less than a 1% chance to pull it off and with your confidence in ECU's ineptitude, what do you have to lose? Besides you already root for 3 AAC teams so by rooting for ECU as well you would hedge your bets by nearly pulling for half the teams in the conference. You'll likely always have one of your teams win on a given day in some sport. Furthermore, we all know you're already a closet ECU fan anyway. You care more about what happens at ECU than most ECU fans. Come down and tailgate with us for a Saturday late afternoon or night game and you'll prolly start pulling for us regardless. I've got some bbq & cold one for you buddy!

Not in the grand scheme of things but what the swimming coach has done of his 40 or so years at ECU is pretty impressive. Ranks 4th all time in the NCAA in wins at 530-188-1.

Although I'd trade 100% of that success for winning football and basketball teams.

Great! We gotta win just one ball game in the tournament. Now is it certain ECU is even playing in the AAC tournament? There's got to be a catch here....

This sounds familiar.

When our brilliant former AD Mack Rhoades was making stupendous hires in the money sports, like Tony Levine and James Dickey, one of the counterpoints his proponents would always bring up were his hires in the non-revenue sports. Many fans kept citing the Whitting hire as proof of his leadership.

Those debates went on for a lot longer than they should have. UH fans had to apply pressure to finally get Rhoades to replace James Dickey and Tony Levine. Those were his guys!

If Levine stayed on for one more year there would be no Peach Bowl. It's doubtful Sampson would have been there if Dickey would've gotten another year. The stars aligned with that one.

I'm so happy with Yurachek. Baylor can have Rhoades. Rhoades takes credit for Herman but that was Tillman.
