Yes I think ODU fans actually care about the direction that C-USA is headed and we want to be at least on par with other G5 conferences and how they run their tourneys. Its really starting to seem like WKU fans like seeing empty stadiums for Conference Championships.

I don't care about start times but if the color commentary guy they get for the tournament isn't up to snuff I"m calling Selig and demand ODU goes independent. Enough is enough.

Middle put in the work and gets shafted. That's C-USA in a nutshell. We want more people in the stands but not pulling gimicky crap to accomplish that. Btw you can only talk so much after you get beat by double digits both times against ODU this year.

My opinion on the matter: UAB should not be allowed to pick its own time slot. It's a huge competitive advantage, especially if they earned one of the top four seeds.

I understand the $$$ reasons for wanting the host team's game to be in the evening, but I would hope that money doesn't cloud the conference's judgment in future years.

Oh, and the women's and men's tournaments need to be split ASAP.

Well to elevate our conference how about ODU does not lose to LSU in the non conference next season, that would work wonders for our Conference RPI...SIck and tired of seeing every thread about what ODU fans want? If the CAA was so great how come it not in the "p5" yet of hoops? Maybe ODU should go back to CAA since apparently the conference was a perfect fit...I guess you guys got everything you wanted in that conference your way...Guess what you are not in CAA anymore....This would be like WKU fans bitching and complaining about how perfect it was when we were in the SUn Belt, no one care about how good you had it in prior conference...

And how does us beating LSU fix the conference tournament situation?

I remember when the tournament was held in Memphis. That was a true homecourt advantage. They had over 18,000 every game and controlled the time slots. Their basketball team was also on another level. They had a monopoly on the conference tournament for years. It was pretty much guranteed Memphis would win the autobid and they did every time they hosted. As far as as UTEP and UAB hosting not that many advantages. Between the four times they have hosted only once has the home team won the autobid.

What can elevate this conference is us all winning more games and having our programs win some of these winnable non conference games...We all need to do better, conference tournament is the least of our worries as far as elevating this conference to a respectable level, not what time does the host play....

Nah we like winning championships and collecting trophies on the field, we let others worry about the attendance who do not participate in these type of games...

I never said we are not part of the problem...WKU has to get better, everyone knows this...Talking about what time a "host" plays does not seem that important in the grand scheme of things and the only ones bitching and moaning in every thread is the ODU Fans....WHy does March bring out the worst in ODU fans, haha....Have been unable to figure it out...

I never said I was happy, but when does some of the blame go to the individual schools? Judy is not scheduling our games for us in hoops and not hiring our coach's and or AD's..I certainly think the conference could do more, but when does accountability fall on the individual schools to do better? How does one time slot effect the entire conference, who care what time UAB plays? UAB, WKU, ODU, UTEP, Charlotte have all enjoyed success in our past, we need to all duplicate that going forward....The schools at the bottom of our conference cannot also be at the bottom of all 351 team DIv. I moving forward....
