Huggins Killer Shot Team
To piggy back off of the other thread...what were the most memorable single shots under Huggins? Obviously, we'd all list Sanders' game winner to open the Shoe.

Mine: Nick Van Exel's half court shot versus X at the Shoe. Was lovely pandemonium.

Whatcha got?

Didn't Fortson have a game winning layup where he took about five steps on the way to the basket? I guess our home loss to Butler last season was payback for that one!

Obviously the Helicopter dunk v Duke.

For me personally it may have been the Nick Van Exel 3 against UAB, just because it was such a dud of a game, absolutely boring, and then he hit a game winning buzzer beater, first buzzer beater I had been at live.

Top 5 for me personally...

1) Little shot vs Marquette
2) Logan vs Memphis
3) Logan 3 vs Marquette to setup the Little shot
4) Levitt dunk on Duke
5) Satterfield vs Memphis

I would probably add DeMar vs DePaul, but I had tuned the game off when we were down 17 and went to bed. So I didn't get to see it live.

RE: Huggins Killer Shot Team
I'm throwing out the 92 and 93 teams because while I remember watching, remember loving the teams and specific players I was young enough that my understanding and appreciation for the game wasn't quite there yet.

For me (if we are sticking to Huggins' teams) the top 5 are:
1. Fletch to Kmart to Levett
2. Logan going length of the floor hitting a free throw line jumper to send it to OT against Memphis (ended up locking up the conference title).
3. Donald Little against Marquette.
4. Dermarr Johnson winner against Depaul in the Kenyon Martin takeover game.
5. Fortson v Tulane

Those two, and I'll add Demarr's hesitation shot to win Kenyon's Depaul game.

+1. After watching his wv team blow another nice lead last night at Baylor i was reminded of all his teams inability to close out at the end. Do not miss the missed ft's at all.

There was a game at 5/3 where Bobbit went off on Ville, and Pitino got kicked out of the game. Fans were throwing stuff at Pitino as he was heading to the locker room. I think Bobbitt made 5 or 6 shots in a row.

Not technically one shot but Durden 3FT's vs Wyoming.
Field just inside the line to send to OT vs Louisville.

The judges will accept that that answer...

2004, Tony Bobbitt hits corner trey with 13 seconds left to avoid another NCAA first round flame out against ETSU and Murray Bartow. Anyone remember that effin' lightning quicks PG Tim Smith?

Couldn't find video but also from 1998, Mel Levett hit a buzzer beater to force overtime against Minnesota on the road. The Cats, ranked #4 at the time, ended up winning by one in overtime.
