He's not listed on the Senior Night program tonite. I guess he'll be back next year.

Interesting. I'm guessing that Marin is in the program??? Anybody else we are missing that really isn't a senior basketball wise that is list that way.

Maric, Armstead, Zelis, and Highsmith are listed as seniors on the roster. Is Zelis on the senior program?

I think he will be just taking minutes from someone who needs it.

Yup. We already saw how that played out this season. Luckily for us and Montgomery he began starting German or else we could be out of even more talented players.

Dontel is scoring 7pts in his first year back. The combination of Highsmith and Porter next year will get you 14-16pts, that's decent.

A starting SG should be averaging double digits. I'm glad he came back from his devastating injuries but it is obvious he is not even close to what he was. I don't understand why there is excuse after excuse for this.

I'm not saying that he should not be on the team but he most definitely should not be starting. If you cannot see that then I am not sure what to tell ya.

And he may just average double digits next year! German looks like a 16-20pt guy, Key, Bradley 10pt guys and if you can get 10pts out of Highsmith or Porter or a combo of 16 from them that's the nucleus for a pretty good offensive team.

He may be starting for his leadership alone since that is lacking on the team. He will be back as will Zelis. Wilson would have gotten tons to minutes if he had put the time in. Highsmith has been disappointing but you have to remember he's basically a freshman on the court.

If Dontel can play like tonight next year than yes he is a better choice than a Freshman

I asked Dontel tonite if he was coming back. He said "I'm not sure".

He hasn't committed one way or the other. Personally I would be surprised if he comes back. I think he's had enough of school

I can't imagine spending that many years straight at NIU/in Dekalb.
