Then what is the point? He casually referred to ISIS as JV (while not directly calling them that) before anybody knew what the long-term effect of their reach would be.

The JV team comment is simply to illustrate, clearly, how feeble and dismissive he treated the entire thing. He could have called the freaking Mouseketeers for all I care, it's what he DID. Essentially nothing, until they had run roughshod all over the place, burning or beheading people, raping young girls, razing entire Cities, and alllllll the other lovely things we've all been party to having to witness.

Face it, Trump is the rebuke to the leader from behinder and his feckless foreign policy(s).

You guys can never get over the trivial of the public comments like these long enough to focus on the actual things that took place. Thousands of bombing runs and hundreds of ISIS leaders and scores of militants killed.

None of you seemed to want to commit ground troops in enough force to totally take them out, so you should just really stop talking about how "feckless" you think he was.
