RE: Other Conference Tournaments
Arlington's bad fortune is a good break for the Seahawks. That's another school taking a 15 or 16 seed. A rising tide raises all boats.

Nevada, a team we are in competition with for seeding, just won and clinched their bid.

Middle Tennessee plays at 830 on cbs sports network. They are ranked ahead of us per bracketmatrix.com averages

MTSU was discussed as an at-large team if they lost. It's probably better to have them in and a weaker team getting the at-large bid. Root for VCU in tomorrow's A10 final. URI can get be one of the last 4 in.

RE: Other Conference Tournaments
I still think the committee looks for a good "story" when they match up mid majors who get auto-bids. Something intriguing to them, or at least a game that will be fun to watch. As things have shaken out, the one obvious matchup has now become Minnnesota vs. UNCW. That would be a high paced, up and down game with Pitino roots. I would like Minnesota because they are ranked as the worst of the 5 seeds, almost a 6 seed at this point.

Cincinnati and SMU play for the championship of the AAC today. They are both in the 5/6 range. A win by SMU may move them up as a potential opponent and a win by Cincinnati possibly moves them into a 4 spot.

Anyone else watching Rhode Island about to snatch the A10 from VCU?
