Perez said that’s the kind of race he’s going to be worried about in the future.

Depends on how it goes down... I could certainly see her getting the VP slot if she does not scorch the earth trying to win the nomination.

The dems need to spend the next two years developing their farm system, get someone young and charismatic who can connect with people ready.

Look, Obama was an over the wall leftist, race card player. But he managed to connect with people. He made those middle american working class white folks come out and vote for him. Hillary could not do that.

If the next DNC race feels like this one, like they are trying to chalk off a gender/race/sexuality box then the dems are in for a hurting. But if they get someone in, who regardless of their race, connects with people and has a populist message they can beat trump with ease.

"Now Ain't that special" , Perez, An Hispanic American, was on Hillary's VP short list until somehow Hillary figured She suddenly needed a White Southern Male to hold off the Trumpster in the Southern states. She just didn't realize what a Nut job Tim was in all Her misguided haste ! Again, No campaign strategy outside of being propped up by DNC and MSM insiders that really wanted Her POTUS over anything else.

Need to defer to the RNC's efforts against DJT. But they can buy others candidates out like Bernie !

Perez and the Democrats will make sure Trump wins a second term. I do not want neither Trump or Hillary in office since they both are con artists.

Progressive branch is livid over this, her running would cause an inevitable melt down and split of the party, especially if she "wins" the nomination again.

We should do everything possible to ensure Clinton runs again. And again. And again. But unfortunately this guy's comments are the same as when your bad employee comes to you and asks for a promotion and you tell them "Well, anyone can apply" knowing damn well the guy is 30 days from being counseled out of the company.

They almost promoted Ellison to be DNC Chair and that would have been the greatest thing to happen to moderates, libertarians, and conservatives ever because he would have turned the Democrats into "Workers of the World Unite" and relegated Democrats even farther to irrelevancy. Instead, they gave the Chair to a 72 year old White-Hispanic (remember those?) straight Christian male lawyer, ensuring the centrist and left factions of the Democratic party will both fight viciously, further ensuring the DNC will be too weak of an opponent to fight Trump in office or in an election. Let the fireworks begin!
