8 days to prepare for Georgia State and start a winning streak. Paper says Vegas has it a "Pick-um" (I might put my house on GaSt if I was in Vegas). But, I'd never bet against our Trojans, and if I ever did, I'm sure I would lose. Hopefully, we can get a win against one of the league's best tonight and turn things around at the right time of year.

Same story different game. I think the season is over at this point. I have next to no confidence that we can win another game this year.

The talent discrepancy tonight was ridiculous. They were clearly better at every position. Not sure how that team lost 5 conference games, but it will be one great final between UTA and GaSt.

Were not close to winning at this point. When you lose by 15 youre not really competing and that seems to be a trend....

It was obvious in warmups that we didn't have the talent to beat that team. When we led early, I told Yncopirt we could hold them off for a little while, but no way we could hold them off the whole night.

It's just amazing and sad that we have fallen this far this quickly.

Beard built a team with Jucos and senior transfers to win immediately, which obviously was his job. The future was not his concern. Wes is bringing in several freshman and hopefully building the program from the ground-up. It will be a major rebuild. He is bringing in a couple of Jucos, as well, which we will desperately need to be somewhat competitive next season. I just hoping Watkins will come back healthy and as good as advertised.

LRTrojan "promised" me we would win one (maybe even said "at least one" at the time). I'm still hopeful, but not sure I see it either. If we play real well we can hang with the best in the Belt, for a half, but I don't think we have enough to do it for 40 minutes.

I guess not much has changed. Looking at our last 4 games, I certainly did not believe we could beat Ga.St. or Troy on the road. I thought GaSou was possible and so was USA. I guess last night's game really highlighted our "talent" gap with the top of the Belt, so I don't see how we beat GaSou unless we are super hot from behind the arc or are much more effective getting the ball to Lis and keeping him out of foul trouble. Still think we can beat USA, but that is based on our first game with them, which was likely their worst performance of the year. We most likely open the tournament with Troy or ULL, which are both teams that "out-athlete" us and have beaten us quite easily.

Didn't know that Flanigan had ****** things up as much as he has. Don't even know that Beard could win a game with this bunch at this point.

Hey Bob, I'm still holding you to it. Just need you to be more specific about which one we will win. I said I'd bet my house on GaSt before last night's game. Like to know when I can win some money on LR.

Time is slipping away. It may have to be in the tournament. After what Southern did at Jonesboro last night, I don't see it happening Monday. But I didn't see Notre Dame or Purdue either.

Ya, I guess that's why they actually play the game. Maybe we better save all our Mojo for the tournament at this point. A rematch and a win against ASU would "make" the season for me.
