Just watched his highlight video that came out yesterday he definitely made a lot more plays than I realized. Not the biggest, but I think he has a shot. Thoughts?

Kid is a flat out winner. Nothing he can't do. He was our starting QB in the MAC Championship game. He played full speed every single play. We're going to miss him a ton. He's also a real nice, humble young man. I hope he gets paid.

Who knows...The NFL is such a big step up in talent level.

I'll say this. There were some games we seemed to forget about him and he didn't get the touches he should have.

I would think he would get a shot in a camp. He can catch the ball, he's fast, he has some moves. I think he was underutilized here.

I think he should find a job in the private sector. Finish his degree and go to work. You don't see many NFL teams run Fly and Jet sweeps.

agree, however Tommie Lee made the Saints roster doing the pretty close to the same thing in college.

Tommy's production blew Turner's out of the water. Tommy had 86 catches his junior year. Did Turner even have 86 career catches?

Good point. It just seemed like TL squared seemed to show more in big situations. Which made is injury situation more frustrating. But by the highlight tape Turner made different types of plays and you can't argue with his speed. It will be interesting to see what happens.

i was looking at it more as a special teamer. TLL most likely isnt going to make his career as WR in the NFL, it will be as a PR/KR and doing some gimmicky stuff like jet sweeps (which they have done w the Saints once in awhile). I see Ducee having the same type of role in the NFL. He's not going to make it as a WR

In terms of total skill set, (leaving out Kick off returns) I think Turner was equal to Akeem Daniels.

And I repeat as others have, Turner was often forgotten on offense some games. I imagine some of that attributed to the QB injurypalooza....

Ducee did a lot of things well, but only great at returning kicks. Not a real receiver or running back. Just a great athlete. I wouldn't be surprised if he runs a 4.4 in his forty at Pro day.Someone will give him a free agent opportunity. Hope he can find his niche. TLL was a legit receiving threat and ran great routes made his transition easier.

If you look at the stats...

TLL 4 Years 299 total touches 3,886 Yards 18 TD's
Ducey 4 years 296 total touches 4,105 Yards 14 TD's

Ducey had 826 more return yards
TLL had 426 more receiving yards, identical avg. per catch and 181 more rushing yards.

I didn't count 2014 for TLL as he only played in two games.

One could argue a push between the two of them.

If you never watched them play, sure.

Does he get a look? Sure. Keep that interview suit pressed and your shirt on point because you probably won't be making a living via football.

Semisch got a look, so did Britt Davis. Turner will get a decent look in camp. Not like he had great QBs throwing to him most of the time.
