Woz- Oklahoma State
Mike Jones- Texas A&M
and now Woodfin- Kansas this offseason.

Another brilliant McGillis contract.

I doubt there's much of a buyout if any for most strength coaches. I'm not sure what he makes but he was the highest paid in the conference and it probably wasn't much over 100k.

Kansas, huh? That's a little depressing. It's not like he gets to move anywhere cool or be a part of anything nationally relevant. He just gets to step up an inch or two on the career ladder. Oh well...

Yeah, I think that's the biggest kick to the nuts right there.... in his HA interview he talks about what a hard decision it was and how he loves USM so much... Kansas man, Kansas

At some point we have to pay these good coaches enough to keep them.

"Enough" is never gonna be ENOUGH.

I remember when we had people who honestly couldn't understand why Todd Monken jumped from Southern Miss to being an offensive coordinator in the NFL.

Agreed 100%. I could understand if it was Kansas basketball or if he went to Kansas or was born/raised there but Kansas football!?!!?

Strength coach generally covers all sports, I think. Could be wrong.
