No idea. Former Tribe player who played in the CFL. Like I said, I'm not confident in the Twitter source...some outfit out of Hawaii

That can't be real. In no world are we hiring a coach from the ladies lingerie football league as the next offensive coordinator

I could find no mention of a Kasey Morgan in regards to W&M or the CFL. I'm calling BS.

The onlyKAsey Morgan I can find is a Wisconsin Stevens Point graduate who maybe coached for 1 year at UWSP. He played DB there, so I doubt he'd become an OC.

Agree with you 100% but you have to wonder how some outfit would know about a potential coaching vacancy at W&M and take the time to write about it. I think it's zablenoise's alt account and he's just trying to stir things up.

Like I said, it's probably an unwritten rule not to discuss "inside" information on the message boards until it is announced by the program. But then it wouldn't be inside info.

There should probably be an unwritten rule for some not to say anything at all, especially if their speculation is out in left field.

I think you took my comments the wrong way, but that happens on message boards. Your information is truly inside, you clearly know something others do not. It has to be inside info, since there has been no announcement out of Laycock Center yet. I don't doubt the accuracy of your statement.

Whatever the situation, let's hope there is some relative stability in staff for players sake.

Seeing where Oscar Smith coach Bill Dee passed last Thursday. First, rest in peace. Had to be tough to coach this past fall while battling cancer. Second, imagine a lot of unsettlement for Shon Mitchell, to lose your HS coach going into your senior year, then lose your senior year coach to cancer, then the prospect that the college OC/QB coach you've come to play under is stepping down, if that's the case. A lot to deal with.

No offense taken. I was only trying to help minimize the speculation, which sometimes can lean towards the bizarre. I'm as perplexed as others why there hasn't been an official announcement. This situation is unique, but it is an amicable departure. Still, a lot of questions remain and I'm sure some answers will be forthcoming, hopefully soon.
In response to your question, I played football and baseball back in the '70s and have tried my best to support both programs ever since.

I did go on the move back to socal. All in all, I'm sorry I brought it up.

Certainly don't have a clue about the dynamics inside their relationship and why, now, the time was right, but thanks for his 4 years back in the 'Burg and best wishes. Again, I hope Jimmye steps back in with a more active role in play calling, whomever is brought into the position. Miss those days of old.
