Chuck is very influential with the Lawson kids and a very knowledgeable CBB person himself. Not sure about Grandpa but since I'm one, Tubby better get back on his good side.

Realistically, does anyone listen to John Lawson's show? The fact that I don't know what station or time he's on says a great deal about the show being a disaster. Why would he try to humiliate and denigrate our head coach on a "sucky" talk show. I've had it with that paid for hire family network. Grandpa is an idiot.

Balls Daddy talks a lot of crap about his sons but he doesn't appear to be trying to cash in and his sons are much better than the Lawsons.

Maybe Daddy Lawson realized that he needs to get his money now because none of his sons may make those millions he dreamed of in the league.

One thing you have to admit -- IF a good player decides to leave, it won't be anything out of the ordinary of late.

Pastner never lost a player the caliber of Dedric. While, Nichols was probably better, certainly on defense, his desire was not there. Plus most of us know why he left and it's hard to say at 19-20 years old many of us wouldn't have done the same thing. But I understand if Dedric decides to leave. He is not getting any better since mid season.

It would be easier to just say the playoff teams who look for D once postseason starts-if you watch NBA, you would know it's a different game for the most part with D and half court becoming much more important. Calathes is an excellent defender and won't beat you with mistakes. EXACTLY what Cleveland needs right now. But he can't get out of that huge contract he has overses, so it's a moot point.

Not hardly. You can have any position put up big numbers, but if the remaining guys don't have talent, heart, or both then all you have is a "20/10 PF as a sophomore". If more talent was around him, I suppose Dedric would have lower numbers but better efficiency and be more effective. Right now, he is just a 20/10 guy playing for Memphis.
I stand by my statement, this team needs more talent. By talent, I mean guys that can play basketball or guys that can impose their will at one specific skill. Our guys are not skilled. Look at other games and come back to tell me we have talent.

How long you been watching CBB? How many games you watch a year? Listen to any reputable CBB media person-not Mike Ciede or locals but national and ask about what Dedric is doing this year with constant double teams-that shows your ignorance-NOT a bad word.

Of course we need other talent but hopefully to supplement Dedric. He is much more of a team player than you are giving him credit for-he is NOT KJ. his only faults in my book are shooting NBA threes and not giving 100% on D which is coaching in most cases as almost all kids don't want to play D. First week of practice we were not allowed to pick up a basketball. All footwork and defense.

To make the NBA (a 1% proposition) is where the tremendous heart, drive and motor HAVE to be there.
