at the half. If they hold on, if further solidifies us in 10th place. No way, do I want to finish 9th, and have to play UTA if we happen to win.

I'd be ashamed to say we went from first to tenth. Don't really disagree with you on your reason for finishing tenth instead of ninth, but there's not much difference in ninth or tenth. Both are extremely embarrassing. Too bad we don't have any real rich supporters who can pay off a coach when he needs to go. One good thing I like about the hogs. They can pay off anyone, you don't have to put up with losing until his contract runs out.

I think we can beat the 7th best team, in the league, on a neutral court if we play well. A third game against ASU, would be fun, but I doubt they would be thrilled to have to play an emotional game like that in their opener. ASU can lock up second with home wins, this weekend, against the Georgia schools. Tough games, but it works out well for them only having to play them at home. Of course, having to play UTA, only on the road, may keep them out of the #1 seed.

USA blew that. 68-68, going to overtime. Advantage Cliff Ellis at this point.

I prefer you guys in 9th place...but Coastal losing helps our chances of locking up a bye. I'm torn.

Coastal wins 81-77. Probably doesn't make a ton of difference for us. We are still 2 full games in back of USA, so it's unlikely we'll catch them. But, if we beat them down there we would have the tie-breaker. Would still need another win, and need them to lose out.
