Kent State @ Buffalo
The Flashes travel to Alumni Arena tomorrow to take on the hottest team in the MAC. The Bulls have won 6 in a row are looking like a team that is either peaking too soon or that nobody wants to see in the Cleveland.

6'6 senior wing Blake Hamilton, 6'3 sophomore CJ Massinburg and 6'5 senior Willie Connor lead the way for Buffalo. Since February, only Central Michigan has been able to put up 80 on UB, who has kind of always been known for rugged defense.

For Kent State, its just win baby time. Friday night was pretty awesome but it will seems like eons ago if the Flashes don't compete in northern New York.

Go Flashes!

Were I a betting man, I'd take Buffalo -7. Buffalo may well be the best team in the MAC right now. Despite the big win at Akron, I'd put KSU right in the middle of the pack - capable of beating anyone in the MAC, but also capable of losing to anyone.

I remember when we had a log winning streak over these guys at our house - their place has been a house of horrors for us in the past few years - hoping for better tonight - but who knows

Why did Hall get a foul on that double foul heading into the timeout? The UB guy shoved him, then stuck his leg out to trip him, then shoved him again and it didn't look like Hall did anything...

I am listening, so not sure.

But good balanced half from the starters. Need some help from the bench. gotta be pleased with the level of competition so far.

Hamilton and Conner have been good for UB.

Lol, they call a foul on what appears to be good defense. Then they blow their whistle during the free throw to review the foul (what they reviewed, no idea). Leave everything as is but he gets to retry the missed free throw. WT actual F are these refs doing tonight? Not saying we're getting the worse of the refs, they're bad both ways... just noting that they're really bad.

Edwin has to be smarter on that play. It seemed like he intentionally fouled to prevent a fast break. Our second best player staying on the court is more important than stopping a fast break with 12 minutes to go. I love Edwin's aggressiveness on defense, but he really picks up a lot of pointless fouls and winds up in foul trouble a lot.

These last six minutes are going to be interesting. Has Kent grown up enough to execute and hold on for another huge road win?

This is painful how much we're sending them to the line. Time and score are looking good though.

Maybe our only issue is we don't understand home court advantage. It has been pretty much irrelevant in our games. This will be as good a win as beating Akron assuming we hold on. Never thought we would win these two back to back.

Ugh, missing the front end of a one and one.
Let's hope we've got the inbounding issues solved.

Haven't we been saying how great they are at closing out games all year?

the bad news though, axeme, that should wrap up the Beta Bell Tower Cup for Akron.
