C-USA Tourney Brackets ?
Are the "blank" brackets available anywhere yet (times, etc ) ?

Or do we have to wait until seeding ?

Does UAB get their choice of times ?

The link below is all the conference site has so far. Just game 1 thru game 11 date and starting time plus tv for each. I'm sure UAB will get an evening time to have the most fans possible. Should be that way to make some money for the conference. I like the fact that the championship game is in the evening instead of first thing in the morning.

Don't know if this is correct, but a few UAB fans have said we get our choice of tip time in our session but not for the overall day.

1st seed gets overall pick, I think.

I too like the time slots with the exception of Friday's 2nd semifinal game. The winner of the late game Thursday night will have a quick turnaround. Assuming the game starts on time of 8 pm it should get over around 10 or so. With interviews and such afterwards the teams probably won't leave the arena until 11 or so. By the time the teams get to the hotel and wind down it will be midnight or after. Then the winner has to be back at the arena 12 hours later for their game on Saturday at 2:00 pm. Beggars can't be chosers but it would almost be beneficial to avoid being in that side of the bracket.

We didn't get to pick last year with number one seed and hosting. Not that it made a difference.

RE: C-USA Tourney Brackets ?
I would love to know the times for 1 and 2 seeds (our men and women, respectively) so I can make arrangements for work.

I don't want to take the entire day off on Thursday if I don't have to, and bringing my 4-year-old son (getting him out of school).

And, FWIW, I do think UAB should get to choose their times.

The times are set and no one gets to pick. The wikipedia page has it right.

Actually, on second glance I think some games are reversed. It was my understanding the format was the same as 2016 except there was no play in game and only 12 teams. All times were set on the better seeds getting more rest, just like in 2016.

RE: C-USA Tourney Brackets ?
UTSA is gonna have a wonderful bracket, and we'll come through. It'll be beautiful because the people have spoken and it's what they want. You'll see. Few are talking about us right now because the media likes to play favorites, but Team Roadrunners will be tremendous, simply tremendous.

We'll build a wall in front of our basket and make everyone else pay for it. You'll see. It's gonna be a GREAT wall. And once we win, the first thing we'll do is repeal the current tournament system, and put something much better in place. We'll have all the best people working on it, and it'll be amazing, simply amazing. We'll make C-USA great again, and soon, C-USA will win so much that we'll start getting tired of winning. It'll be absolutely incredible.

Only FIU and UNT looks like will be left out (12 teams makes it), I hope next season we only include top 8 so its not as water down as it usually is....

12 is better, if not all 14. Early rounds get rid of "watering down".

It'll never go to 8 because that makes the bidding process less valuable - less hotel rooms sold, tickets, etc. At least the commish got us that sweet TV deal.
