Nothing wrong with grasping at straws trying to find optimism.

Haase lost 6 in a row.

Haase lost 6 in a row in 6 games with no sub 200 rpi teams and 2 of the games were against #12 Memphis and #31 USM. 93 RPI average in those games

We're 1-5 in our last 6 playing against 4 sub 200 RPI teams with the best team being #125 Marshall. 212 RPI average in these games.

I would say our rosters were pretty different then too. Yeah, still some similarities, but I would argue this is worse.

Not to mention Haase was also a first year coach that year AND he was coaching a team that was completely new to him. Not the case with Rob.

Done.

Those stats are incorrect. We average 72. The opponents average 70.
In the last six games.....we average 60 points per game, to the opponents 75 points per game. Duh!

Having Lewis available would have made a big difference this year. He brings a sorely needed spark. However, I don't blame him for the red-shirt and will look forward to seeing him play more next year.

I can pull out a stat to show you anything you want. Let's stop being silly. I know we are all frustrated. No one is happy but we are letting this get out of hand.

As example, I recently discovered that UAB was undefeated in games Mike Anderson Jr played. The question is then, given that stat, why wasn't he played every game and especially against Kansas in the NCAA

I would guess that Sullivan would be just as hot and cold as everyone else on the team if he didn't redshirt.

So no problems with effort, energy, injuries..?

Gotcha. Glad you are staying on script no matter what the circumstances show.

Effort = coaching and the talent

Energy= coaching and the talent

Injuries = coaching and the talent

Effort can bottom out playing out of position like being a 6'8 center trying to match a 7 fter and i guess energy too if he shoots over you.

Injuries while some are freak accidents. You dont lose every top PG recruit then go with the laat man standing who had a serious knee injury in hs as your only point guard on the team with out signing one the next year simple. For two years now ive seen the top instate PG imho being passed over.

Also Watts isnt a PG and shouldve been ready to play earlier. There's no way he shouldve been a backup PG his whole career. By his junior season he shouldve played off the ball. Since we rarely use Smallwood (another issue i have with this team) that scholarship shouldve went to a PG and finish that class (2015) with three great guards. The top instate pg that year was Cam Horton imho.
