It's not enough for us to keep winning, someone ahead of us has to lose (and it's far enough into the season it'd have to be significant). Besides, the only poll that counts, the Pairwise, has us among legit national title contenders.

I think Minnesota could drop in both over the next couple of weeks. Harvard won't, DU wont, UMD maybe. Other than the opportunity of being a top four pairwise, I really don't care where WMU ends up ranking wise.

Broncos just need to secure home ice going into the playoffs and then get to Minneapolis. Everything will fall into place after that.

If we can hold serve until then and win those two games, i'd imagine we'd be a #1 seed as long as we make it to Minneapolis.

The good news is UMD is on our schedule in 2 weeks so if we win those games that means..... well, you know.

We have legit shot at a #1 seed; though a #2 seed isn't exactly a disappointment.

When i look at the seedings of the top 15 there are several that would not be in the top 5 of the nchc. Cornell, Ped St,Union ,Ohio St. But if at the start of the year and someone said we would be in the top 15 most of us {sorry} all of us would thought you would have fallen off your rocker. Losing a game to CC would cost us but losing to UMD would not cost us bad at all.

Good website for forecasting your future Pairwise rank by remaining schedule/wins. Doesn't include conference tournaments, but Broncos aren't dropping out of the NCAA race even if they blow the next 4. Could be an overall 3 or 4 seed in the tourney by winning out.
