Slyfox, instead of posting travel info to multipe sites, copied the one from a Sea of Red to a new thread under UMass.

Seeing the latest Sea of Red, one thing I would love to see the Pack do if Liberty were to get @Hawaii. Ex. 2019 @Hawaii NCSU could add an away game at Liberty as an opponent for a 13th game to open the week before season officially opens. Then have Liberty come to NCSU 2021 & 2023. Win/Win for both programs.

That's pretty good. P5 teams low balled us a bit during our fist FBS year saying were not full up to FBS and paid less than a million.

RE: LU football FBS games - to be updated
I'm looking forward to playing UMass. Unlike New Mexico State, UMass appears to put more effort into their football program though the results don't reflect it. UMass choose to be independent by declining the MAC invitation while NMSU was not renewed with the Sun Belt and are just scrambling to survive. I don't know how long they can make it work but I hope we build a rivalry of sorts with someone and that someone looks like UMass.

RE: LU football FBS games - to be updated
These are win-win's for me personally. My alma-mater playing my hometown team.

Aside from the obvious scores with this series with my Orangemen, the best parts are that our home game is first in this 2 for 1, and that these are winnable games for us in great environments. I haven't been to a Cuse home game in a loooong time, but the Carrier Dome was a great environment in the 90's during the Pasqualoni and MacPherson era's.

Syracuse is a solid school. They are winnable but improving.

Syracuse is a ACC school. Enough said. This is amazing the quality of scheule the admins have pulled off in such a short period of time.

Beating an ACC school would be great, no matter the opponent but let's not kid ourselves. Syracuse isn't Clemson or Florida State.

My one SU experience was catching a game at Penn State playing Syracuse when I was dating my soon to be wife in the mid 1980's. Happy Valley was a special game, and PSU used SU. And SU has had some strong wins but never seemed to be able to sustain it into the upper echelon of the BE or the ACC. I don't follow their program but that's my perception.

You all now just need to get AAC for the G5 Sweep. I think lower B10 and SEC would do 2-1. Keep up the good work.

Penn State tries to heavily recruit Virginia. It wouldn't surprise me to see a 2-1 in PSU's favor. I wouldn't say it is probable but there is a chance.

Congrats on the scheduling. One comment on your post. I do not consider any two for ones or any other combination in one team's favor. You get a lot of cash when doing those which is the great equalizer. I guess If your AD sold LU too cheap, as in the FCS price range, then you could say the deal was favorable to one school versus the other. Right now I've seen nothing but mutually favorable deals being done. I hope it eventually "gets out" what you are being paid by SU.
