Blacker is amazing. Great leaping glove save at one point.

When this team turns it on, we look amazing.

Yeah, UND isn't what they usually are this season, but we're definitely showing we can compete in the NCHC. Already wondering who we'll play in the NCAA Tourney!

Being outshot by 30, not good at all, though.

Per the (surprisingly friendly) North Dakota fan who sat next to me, this wasn't the first time ND had this problem. They lost a few weeks ago to Colorado College, 3-0, even though they outshot them 45-20.
Surprisingly loyal fans who drove over from Wisconsin to see the game, and only because their son lived in North Dakota.
He kept saying to me, I can't understand why this place wasn't packed both nights.

We went up to Kzoo for the weekend and caught this one in person - what a great game.

Honestly, we were on our heels after the 1st but Blacker pretty much single-handedly kept us in the rest of the way.

This team's special. I'm sincerely hoping we continue to gel and manage a run to the FF since it's conveniently in Chicago this year.

That would seriously be great. Tickets are $$$ though, but it'd be worth it.
