Basketball Brand
Tony commented in post game tonight about each CAA team having their own choice of basketball brands for home game use. Certainly not a parameter that had ever crossed my mind regarding team home vs away success. Some would comment that it doesn't really make much difference, but I know for me it often made a big difference. It certainly doesn't effect whether you play defense and how hard you play, but offense skills have to be effected in home vs. away performance. Teams relying on the 3 pt shot have to be effected more. I know I'd want to use exclusively the ball brand used in the CAA tournament in the week run-up prior to the tournament.

This article suggests UCLA made a point of practicing with an opponents' ball brand before a road game. I'd be curious what brand we use at home vs. other CAA team brands.

Interesting food for thought.

RE: Basketball Brand
I understand Tom Brady has a consulting company helping teams adapt to the different game balls used in each sport by each team. Supposedly he is very hands with his evaluations.
