Well the loss sucks, but Pastner's team would've gotten blown out.

And a player would have tendinitis.

Maybe....but they never should have lost that game tonight.

But yet Tubby tells the team afterwards not to worry, they will get better. He should take total blame for this loss, not deflect it to his players. Sad.

That job is easier if they secure a first round bye in the conference tournament.

That's looking less likely after tonight.

Some of y'all are acting like you've never seen this before. Hell, I was hanging on every point even when we were up big. Epic collapse? Try West Virginia against Kansas last week. Was it Crawford that missed two free throws that could've put us up 10 later in the game? On the road, the team played great for the first 30 minutes. Guys, their team sucked in the first half, it's basketball. They got hot late and we didn't answer.

Agree but our defense was very poor in the 2nd half, especially on Adams. Memphis let Adams play horse, uncontested shot after uncontested shot. Absolutely no effort in the 2nd half. Very disappointing to throw away the good effort in the 1st half.

Unfortunately, that's what I was saying in the 2nd half. Our PG is not really a PG, and he has a low PG IQ.

Really bad perimeter D. Nobody got in Adams grill. Did they ever even try to check him hard and put him on the line? We're just too soft. Jimario and Keon seem the only ones willing to get after you. And Jimario is so undersized. Not sure why Keon hardly got off the bench. Seems Tubby could have put him in with instructions to get after Adams. He would have lost him on some of the plays, no doubt. But he could have made Adams earn it.

They were tired and they made mistakes. Tired players don't play good defense and their legs are gone. Lawson BB IQ is nil pass ball in traffic, get ball, get trapped, SHOOT!

I don't see it that way. I didn't see a tired team, I saw a mentally weak team with no PG and no C. Dedric is a good passer, but his team IQ needs work. He and KJ play really well off of each other - naturally.

Yep, it's a shame Pookie Powell got tendinitis and had to leave the team.
