RE: MAC Awards
If there was a 6th team All-MAC then NIU would dominate that.

RE: MAC Awards
And Dambrot is making a late run to lose MAC Coach of the Year.. Could be Saul Phillips now for continuing to win after Campbell was lost for the season

RE: MAC Awards
MAC POY might be opening up as well. Keene is still scoring, but he's been doing it inefficiently. Also, more importantly CMU is spiraling down hill. Would they really give the award to a guy playing on a team that finishes near the bottom of the MAC?

Changed my mind ...

All-MAC

Johnson
Keene
Hamilton
Simmons
Hall

POY -- Johnson (although if there was a MIP - most important player - it would be Cheatham).

COY -- Still Dambrot ... kept this team from being exposed until the very end of the season.

Steve Taylor: Top three in nation in rebounding and double-doubles, shoots 53% and over 3 assists per game and he doesn't make it over Hall?

I would think Hall's a lock. 4-time player of the week, leads the team in most stat categories, high in the key MAC categories--points, rebounds, blocks--though I am reluctant to use stats as the main argument for these awards. He draws as much defensive attention as anyone in the league and still produces at a high rate. I think you can pencil him in for his third first-team All-MAC. My guess is the 5th slot is between Hamilton and Taylor.

The 2nd leading scorer in the league is Jon Jon right? I know there are some good guards, but 21ppg aint shabby.

He's having a great year as a scorer, but who are you taking off to put him on, if you are considering him for first team?
