It looks like a party with a driving range, sort of.

One is coming to Nashville this year.

Top Golf

My kind of place! Will have to check it out, where at in Nashville?

If you check the link out it says the location is at the intersection of Cowan St and Jefferson St. Since I don't know Nashville at all, I don't know where that is but you probably do.

Top Golf Nashville

There is one in the Norfolk -VA Beach area. Many people that have gone love this place. Has been open a couple of years now.

You can draw fans from alumns who live in the area. From a quick Google search, many CUSA schools have alumni chapters in DFW.

THIS! With all of the UNT, UTEP, UTSA, LA Tech, and Rice alumni living in DFW it should definitely be part of a ROTATION of the C-USA tournament.

Agreed. Which arena would be best for the tournament.

We have two arenas, fun things to do around town, and would have support.

Does ODU have 2 arenas ? Or a convention center nearby that could be converted ?

With the OVC going to Evansville and the SEC going to St. Louis, 2018 seems to be the perfect opportunity to have the tournament in Nashville.

Yes but supposedly the MEAC has contracted the Scope for their tournament, I'm not sure when it's be available again.

The last I remember seeing is that the MEAC has the Scope booked through 2018.

This action would require 3 very difficult things,

1. First you would have to wake the Madam Judy up.

2. Then you would have to implant a negotiation skills chip in her brain.

3. Change her personality that so passion and excitement would come through in her voice well selling CUSA to Nashville. Unlike her performance at media days

I believe they moved the OVC tournament to Evansville in 2018, so Metro can do the promised renovations/upgrades to the Municipal Auditorium. It has something to with Live Nation taking over the booking/management of the arena. So, I don't think we could use it even if we wanted to.

The West has all the nearby bowls. The East at least need to have the basketball tournament.

Well, that just makes too damn much sense. 03-lmfao

Wow. Are you serious, or is this a joke? 04-bolt

You say it as if they're everywhere. I believe they only have like two or three dozen locations spread over 15-20 states

You're right (for once, ha!). My apologies. We've got several of them here in the DFW area. I've got one Top Golf 5 miles from my house in one direction (Allen, TX) and another one 6 miles away in the other direction (The Colony, TX). Plus, I've played Top golf for corporate events in Houston, Denver, etc...) So I probably am guilty of taking it for granted. My bad.

Agreed. Which arena would be best for the tournament.

Dr Pepper Star Center in Frisco and Allen Events Center.

This is what I posted last year. These are FANTASTIC AREAS to host a CUSA BB tournament(s).

If CUSA fans could experience these venues, they would never want to go back to Birmingham. Heck, even the people that live in Birmingham wouldn't want to go back to Birmingham. 03-lmfao

Tennessean article "Could C-USA Basketball tournament Come to Nashville?" This Morning's Edition whets your appetite for some Music City MBB; but according to C-USA Spokeswoman Courtney Morrison-Archer "The Bid Process for the 2018 Championship is Closed!" Municipal Auditorium spokesman Skoney says "I am holding the 2019 and 2020 dates for the OVC right now..... but "They aren't under contract....so it's possible for another conference to come in."

When did they announce the site of the 2018 tournament?

They haven't announced it. They may not have even selected it. But, it sounds like the bid process is closed.
