Did WR and ST here. Well, we couldn't catch a ball to save our lives last year and don't get me started on our kickoff coverage. Depending on who we hire, could be a net gain.

It's a reverse of fortune. One year prior, the WRs caught nearly everything in eye-shot of their hands. It's a combination of both coaching and talent...last season, more lack of talent than coaching IMO.

On ST, yeah, KO coverage was atrocious. However, we were nailing FG from everywhere south of the opponents 35 yard line prior to Shaunfield(sp) getting hurt, while hitting on every XP. Punt coverage was at one point, one of the best in the nation. In our favor, we did have one PR for a touchdown and multiple returns netted good gains.

Not a zero sum game by simply replacing Woz. Likely the best recruiter on staff.

My hope, he returns next year to take the OC job once Shannon on-loan-pay ends and we can no longer afford him (I hope he stays, just saying, dude got HC material written all over him).

Can't judge the WR coach by how well they catch the ball.(cue BDR) Either they can catch or they can't. It's like speed, you can improve it a little bit with a lot of work, and I assure you the receivers catch a million balls a day. His job is to teach them to run good routes and block. Catching the ball is mostly a talent thing. And honestly Isaiah Jones was the only one with bad drop issues. That was a freak mental thing in my opinion.
