Not real sure how the coach keeps her job or even wants it at this point.

RE: Women's Basketball 2016-17 thread
The Women's team is showing some signs of life lately. With today's win over Charleston, they've now won 3 of their last 4, including a victory over Towson on Friday. Towson had swept their season series with JMU, representing the Dukes' only 2 conference losses (7-2).

The Seahawks improve to 3-6 and a 3-way tie for 7th. Certainly they're not going to be a top team in the league this year by any means, but at least they're competitive of late.

Shooting guard Madison Raque and "stretch 4" Jordan Henry have been particularly effective of late for the Seahawks. In the latest 4-game stretch, Raque is averaging 14.2 points per game and shooting .333 from the perimeter, while Henry is posting 8.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per contest.

RE: Women's Basketball 2016-17 thread
After a brief glimmer of hope, the Women's team has dropped 3 of their last 4 to fall to 4-9 in league play. Luckily, the teams around us are performing just as poorly. Towson, who we beat on Friday to complete a season sweep, has lost 6 straight. Thus, at it stands, we're holding on to the 6th seed and can still avoid the first day of the CAA Tournament.

The next 2 are at home for the Seahawks, starting with 11-2 JMU on Friday and then last place Hofstra on Sunday. Baseball, of course, opens the same weekend.

I still can't believe Towson beat JMU twice this season.
