RE: Congrats GCU
CSUB/GCU has to be the hardest tandem to play in the WAC and on the road for that matter! That being said NMSU could have peaked to early this year. They do have some hope if Bake slips up against GCU or another WAC school but time is running out for them. The WACT should be fun and I'm looking forward to it. CSUB/NMSU should be the WACT final. Anyways I'm happy with how the Lopes played last night. Wondering what Taylor was trying to accomplish with that extra swipe at Russell at the end of the game. Not sure what he did to earn the T though. I chalk it up to a hard tough game and the cold stretch for the Aggies. But it seems for the most of the game besides the Taylor stuff (which was minor) both teams were respectful with each other. Again It was a good game and Lopes Up!

I went back and re-watched the game on ESPN3 and as Taylor was shaking DeWayne's hand he said something to the ref and I think the ref was tired of his jawing that he was doing all game and just T'd him up.

Weir commented that he blames himself for pushing the team too hard. What do Ags fans feel about that? Agree or not?

Weir is extremely hard on himself. Anything that goes wrong, he blames himself 99% of the time. He knows the condition of the team. He is still learning to be a head coach.

It's not a bad approach. Majerle has no problem airing any and all players out publicly, by name, after wins and losses. A couple days after the loss to CSUB, there was a piece published with Majerle owning his part in the let downs this year. It was a little backhanded (We're soft because I stopped practicing them as hard), but he owned it.
Fast forward a week to Saturday's pregame & Majerle said it feels like the team had turned a corner. Whether they have or haven't remains to be seen, but the turning point of the season for GCU might very well end up being when Majerle took and publicly expressed responsibility for failures of the team. If it is done from a place of authenticity, I think it moves the needle.

I feel we now understand why we are bringing in so many new recruits next year. Most of our current players just don't fit the system. I feel next year's squad is going to be special. We'll end up 26-4 this year, but it's going to be next year's squad that could do great things.

A question that I hope the Aggie fans can answer for me. Why doesn't Bhullar play more for you guys, especially against a team way undersized like us?

I'm not sure if Tanveer has been doing what has been asked of him. Weir had given every player stuff to work on over the summer. Tanveer didn't play the first few games because of it. Another factor could be how well Tanveer is adjusting to Weir's system.
