Great to see this come to fruition.
The Mitch in conjunction with The Ted in conjunction with the players living in the University Village is an awfully attractive package.

And hopefully to a big man or two. It's amazing how hard the sale of ODU has become over the years given all the nice bigs we were getting throughout the 80s with simply a multi-purpose fieldhouse to sell.

It sure is nice to have, but as the article states, its not a game changer. This basically helps keep us in the running with our peer programs. While our arena is much nicer than the ugly Rams to the northwest, their practice facility appears to blow ours away. Its still going to take herculean effort to stay even in recruiting with our peers. That said, with our facilities, fan base, financial support and now practice facility, there is NO excuse not to be crushing the likes of FIU, FAU etc in basketball. (football is another story)

Only one small thing detracts from that package....

Yeah if we scrapped the stadium and put 55 mil towards a practice facility it would be insane too. But I'd venture the take the long term roi on the stadium and nice but modest investment in our practice gym.

Posted from mobile device. Hopefully it's coherent.
